Rithmic

Native Iceberg detection is based on "Market-by-Order" data. Read more here: https://www.cmegroup.com/education/market-by-order-mbo.html. Without detailed market data — in this case order IDs — it will not be possible to detect any native iceberg.

'Aggregated quotes' in Rithmic

In order to detect Iceberg Orders, 'Aggregate Quotes' must be deactivated in the Rithmic data feed. If it is not deactivated, Rithmic will not provide the necessary data quality.

Where can I get Rithmic data feed?

  • Through your broker. Most brokers do offer a Rithmic data feed.
  • The prop firm as well. All prop firms offer Rithmic as data feed.
  • Rithmic offers a 14-day trial of its data feed directly on their website.
