Dynamic Iceberg Development

Dynamic Iceberg Developments (DID) powerfully show the exact development of all single native Iceberg Orders on the chart in real time. Each Iceberg Order has its own individual properties and is placed, shifted, traded, and canceled uniquely. These individualized movements and actions are traced by the DID tool.

Example

Iceberg Order traces in ATAS

DIDs trace the exact behavior of native Iceberg Orders in real-time on the chart.

The DID-lines shows the history of every native Iceberg Order: When it was originally placed in the order book by an institution, when the Iceberg Order price level was shifted, when market traded against the Iceberg Order and when it is finished transacting.

Settings

  • Enable Checkbox Enable the checkbox to enable DID tool on trading chart.
  • Show all traces Disabled will remove all previous traces; only current and active DID will be shown. Enabled will show all previous traces as well as any active DID.
  • Trigger Size Based on the defined value of the "Native Iceberg Order Size" this parameter represents the minimum percentage of lots that needs to be reached before the DID is shown. Example: If the "Native Iceberg Order Size" is set to 1000 lots, then a 20% "Trigger Size" means that the DID must reach at least 200 lots before it is shown on the chart.
  • Trace Design Change DID signal design, define the preferred DID line color and transparency on ATAS chart.
