Iceberg Events

Iceberg events are triggered on the ATAS trading chart when the trigger size for the Iceberg order volume is reached or exceeded, and the Iceberg order has been fully executed.

The Iceberg Symbol (Professional View) on Chart

The iceberg 'Professional' view offers a deep insight into the executed iceberg and its characteristics.

O = Open lot count that was not traded after the iceberg was closed.
D = Duration in seconds. This is the duration, i.e., the time between the start and end of the iceberg.
A = Actively traded iceberg as market order.
P = Passively traded iceberg as limit order.
TS = Tranche size. Size of the icebergs tranches or block.

Iceberg-B: This indicates it is a BID side Iceberg Order.
O: 0 — This means there were no open lots left untraded when the Iceberg Order closed.
D: 3157.3s — The duration of the Iceberg Order was 3,157.3 seconds (about 52.6 minutes).
TS: 5 — The tranche size (or slice size) of the iceberg order is 5. This means each visible portion of the order revealed to the market was 5 units in size.
165 — This green number represents the total size of the iceberg order.

Settings

Enable Activates the Iceberg Event.
Iceberg Ask / Iceberg Bid Configures settings for Iceberg Orders on ASK and BID side. Size sets the display size for Iceberg Orders on chart.

View Mode

To display iceberg markers, select from three different viewing modes: Exact, Per Bar, and Aggregated.

Per Bar Iceberg markers will be stacked within a single bar if multiple icebergs appear during that time frame.
Aggregated Iceberg markers are aggregated based on the selected symbol or candle time frame.
Exact Iceberg markers are displayed on the chart at the precise moment they appear.

Order Size Trigger

Sets the minimum order size to trigger an iceberg signal.

Alert Options

'Use Alert' activates the sound alerts when the iceberg size is triggered. You can choose between a variety of predefined Alert sounds.

Iceberg Dot Event

Enable Activates the Iceberg Event Dot on the chart.
Dot Design Size, color and transparency level of the dot on the chart.
