Stop Volume Profile (Stop-VP)

The Stop Volume Profile accumulates traded Stop Order volumes per price level based on the visible chart range and displays them as horizontal bars directly on the heatmap.

The Stop Volume Profile and Iceberg Volume Profile share the same display and settings. The difference is the underlying data: Stop-VP accumulates traded Stop Order volume, while Iceberg-VP accumulates traded Iceberg Order volume.

The profile renders directly on the heatmap for smooth zooming and scrolling. A summary widget above the profile shows the Stop-VP title and total Bid / Ask volumes.

Stop Volume Profile settings

Enable : Enable the checkbox to display the Stop Volume Profile on the chart.

Position / Size : Change the profile's position and size by adjusting the sliding gauges. Position range: 0-100. Size range: 0-240.

Opacity : Adjusts the transparency of the volume profile bars. Range: 10-255. Default: 255.

Direction : Choose whether Ask volume extends to the left or right side of the profile.

Split Display : When enabled, Ask and Bid volumes are displayed as separate bars extending in opposite directions. When disabled, Ask and Bid volumes are stacked in a single bar.

Different Split Display and Direction settings Split Display and Direction can be combined to match the preferred chart orientation.

Show Numbers : When enabled, volume numbers are printed on bars that are large enough to display them. Numbers appear once a bar's volume exceeds 10% of the maximum bar and the chart is zoomed in enough.

Configurable Summary Labels

Choose the labels displayed next to Bid and Ask totals in the summary widget and on High Volume Lines:

  • Bid B / Ask S: "B" for Buys on the Bid side and "S" for Sells on the Ask side.
  • Bid S / Ask B: "S" for Sells on the Bid side and "B" for Buys on the Ask side. This is the default for Stop-VP.
  • Bid UP / Ask DOWN: ▲ for Bid, ▼ for Ask.
  • Bid DOWN / Ask UP: ▼ for Bid, ▲ for Ask.
  • None: Show numbers without labels in the summary widget. High Volume Lines are drawn without number badges.

The letter-based styles describe the order side directly. The arrow styles leave the interpretation to the trader, allowing the Bid and Ask sides to be presented as upward or downward pressure.

High Volume Lines

When enabled, High Volume Lines highlight the price levels with the highest accumulated volume by drawing horizontal lines across the full chart width.

High Volume Lines High Volume Lines highlight the strongest accumulated volume levels.

When Show Numbers is enabled and a Summary Label style is selected, each line displays a text badge showing the total volume and Bid/Ask breakdown. The badge uses the selected Summary Label style.

High Volume Line Numbers High Volume Line badges show the total volume and Bid/Ask breakdown.

Top Levels : Defines how many top volume price levels are highlighted. Range: 1-20. Default: 3.

Bid Line Color / Ask Line Color : High Volume Lines use separate colors for Bid-dominant and Ask-dominant price levels. When Bid volume is equal or higher, the line uses Bid Line Color. When Ask volume is higher, the line uses Ask Line Color. Line opacity can be configured in each color picker.
