TradeFinder 3.10 - What's New

Dynamic Iceberg Development (DID)

Smarter Filtering

  • Trigger Size now goes down to 0%: See every developing iceberg, no matter how small.
  • Min. Duration: Reduces noise by filtering away icebergs that get filled immediately or too quickly. Only icebergs that have stayed open for at least the configured duration show a DID trace and trigger alerts. Default: 10 seconds.
  • Duration Mode: Choose how duration is measured:
    • Since Order Start counts from when the order was first placed in the book.
    • Since First Trade counts from the first fill. For example, if an iceberg survives the first fill for 60 seconds, you get an alert.

Better Alerts

  • Combined gating: DID alerts for sound, Telegram, and Bookmap fire only when both Trigger Size and Min. Duration thresholds are met.
  • Cancellation alerts: Get alerted when a tracked iceberg is canceled from the book before being fully filled. Separate sound, Telegram, and Bookmap controls are available.

Volume Profiles

New: Stop Volume Profile (Stop-VP)

Stop Volume Profile accumulates traded Stop Order volumes per price level and displays them directly on the heatmap. It shares its display and settings with the Iceberg Volume Profile, but uses traded Stop Order volume instead of traded Iceberg Order volume.

Stop and Iceberg Volume Profiles

Shared Improvements

Stop-VP and Iceberg-VP received the following shared improvements:

  • Split Display separates Ask and Bid volumes into two halves, making it easier to see the directional breakdown at each price level.
  • Direction chooses whether Ask volume extends to the left or right side.
  • Show Numbers toggles volume numbers on the bars. Numbers appear once a bar's volume exceeds 10% of the maximum bar and the chart is zoomed in enough.
  • High Volume Lines highlight the price levels with the highest accumulated volume.
  • Summary Widget shows the profile title and total Bid / Ask volumes.
  • Smoother Rendering renders profiles directly on the heatmap for smoother zooming and scrolling.

Configurable Summary Labels

Summary Widget labels are now configurable:

  • Bid B / Ask S: "B" for Buys on the Bid side and "S" for Sells on the Ask side. This is the default for Iceberg-VP.
  • Bid S / Ask B: "S" for Sells on the Bid side and "B" for Buys on the Ask side. This is the default for Stop-VP.
  • Bid UP / Ask DOWN: ▲ for Bid, ▼ for Ask.
  • Bid DOWN / Ask UP: ▼ for Bid, ▲ for Ask.
  • None: Show numbers without labels in the summary widget. High Volume Lines are drawn without number badges.

The letter-based styles describe the order side directly. The arrow styles allow Bid and Ask sides to be presented as upward or downward pressure.

High Volume Line Numbers

When Show Numbers is enabled and a Summary Label style is selected, High Volume Lines display a text badge showing the total volume and Bid/Ask breakdown. The badge uses the selected Summary Label style.

Bid / Ask Line Colors

High Volume Lines use separate colors for Bid-dominant and Ask-dominant price levels. When Bid volume is equal or higher, the line uses Bid Line Color. When Ask volume is higher, the line uses Ask Line Color. Line opacity can be configured in each color picker.

Ratio Less / Equal Filter

Volume Spike now has a second ratio filter: Ratio less / equal.

Use it to include signals where buy and sell volume are close to equal. For example, a value of 1.5 allows the larger side to be up to 50% larger than the smaller side.

The filter is disabled by default, so existing Volume Spike behavior is unchanged after upgrading.

Ratio Filters Work as Either / Or

The two ratio filters can be combined:

  • Ratio greater / equal keeps strong one-sided spikes.
  • Ratio less / equal keeps close-to-equal spikes.

When both are enabled, a signal passes if either filter matches.

For example:

  • Ratio greater / equal = 5
  • Ratio less / equal = 1.5

This shows very imbalanced spikes with a ratio of at least 5, and balanced spikes with a ratio of at most 1.5. Ratios in the middle are filtered out.

MarketExplorer Signal Maximum Filters

Optional maximum-volume filters are now available for Sweeps and Stop Sweeps, Native Stop Runs, and Stop Volume.

Each maximum filter is disabled by default, preserving existing signal behavior after upgrading. Enable its checkbox to display signals within the configured minimum-to-maximum range.
